HOW DO I USE BONHEUR CARDS?
Bonheur cards give you the freedom to eat, shop or play at any of the merchants that appear on the front of the card. Simply present your prepaid card for food, merchandise or services at time of payment. The amount of every purchase you make will automatically be deducted from the value on the prepaid card. You are free to use the same prepaid card across multiple brands. Once the entire Card amount has been spent, it can no longer be used as a method of payment. To use the Card at a point-of-sale terminal, simply swipe the magstripe on the back of the Card and sign the receipt.

DO I NEED TO ACTIVATE THE CARD BEFORE USING IT?
No, the Card is ready to use after purchase.

CAN I USE BONHEUR CARDS ONLINE?
Online redemption may not be available for all merchants.

To make an online purchase:
-Select Credit as the payment method
-Enter the 16-Digit Card number located on the back of the Card in the credit card field. Do not enter the 16-Digit Card number into the gift card field.
-If prompted for a billing address, enter your shipping address.

HOW DO I USE BONHEUR CARDS IN STORES?
Ensure you know your balance and tell the cashier to ring up as “credit”.

CAN I USE BONHEUR CARDS TO APPLY A TIP TO THE BILL?
Yes, as long as the subtotal plus the tip is less than or equal to the Card balance.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THESE PREPAID CARDS?
The Card is redeemable only at the merchants whose logos appear on the front of the Card.

CAN I USE MY CARD AT THE APPROVED MERCHANTS’ U.S. BRANCHES?
No, the Cards can only be used at the Canada merchant locations whose logos are on the front of the Card.

HOW CAN I CHECK THE BALANCE ON THESE PREPAID CARDS?
Visit Bonheur’s Check Balance page, or call 833-250-4478.

DO BONHEUR CARDS HAVE ANY FEES?
No, there are no fees.

DO THE FUNDS ON THE BONHEUR CARD EXPIRE?
There is an expiry date on the back of each Bonheur Card; this is when the plastic expires. However, funds on your prepaid card never expire. If funds still remain on the card after that date, please call 833-250-4478 to have a replacement card issued and mailed to you at no cost. The balance on the replacement card will be equal to the balance on the discontinued card.

CAN I RELOAD BONHEUR CARDS?
No, Bonheur cards cannot be reloaded.

CAN I USE THE CARD FOR CASH WITHDRAWAL?
No, Bonheur cards cannot be used for ATM cash withdrawal.

HOW ARE MERCHANDISE RETURNS PROCESSED?
Depending on the merchant, merchandise returns may be refunded directly back to your prepaid card, so be sure to keep it until you are sure you will not need it.

WHAT IF MY PURCHASE IS MORE THAN THE VALUE AVAILABLE ON THE CARD?
If your purchase is larger than your balance, ask the cashier to swipe the prepaid card for the exact amount available on the card; then pay the remaining balance with another form of payment. These are called “split transactions.” Some merchants do not allow cardholders to conduct split transactions.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY BONHEUR CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?
If your Card has been lost or stolen, please call Customer Service immediately at 833-250-4478. In order to get a new Card, you will need your original purchase receipt. Customer service will refund you the then available amount on your Card by sending a new Card to your address.
